Each year the Hopewell Columbiettes & Knights of Columbus offer recognition awards to an 8th grade girl and boy ($250 each) and to a 12th grade girl and boy ($1,000 each). The 8th graders write about a service activity that they did in preparation for confirmation.

High school applicants submit a list of service activities and write a short essay on what their Catholic faith means to them.

Applicants must be a member of the St. James, St. George, St. Alphonsus or St. Charles Borromeo parish. Applications are due in early June and application forms will be available on the church Web site approximately one month before the due date.
